Message From Our Founder

Hi there! I'm Kimberly, and I founded Preschool Social Academy in 2008 to pursue my passion for educating young children. Over the past 15 years, I've dedicated myself to building a school in the town of Winchester with a team of like-minded educators who share a commitment to outdoor time, ensuring Kindergarten readiness, and embracing the joyful Reggio Emilia Approach to learning for children ages: Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten

Meet The Team

The Hearts Behind the Classroom

Our dedicated educators bring warmth, expertise, and genuine passion to every single day. They're not just teachers — they're champions for your child.

Miss Fiona

Miss Fiona has worked at PSA for 13 years and has a BA in Physics from Oberlin College, OH.  She began her journey into education and the Reggio approach by collaborating directly with our leader Ms. Kimberly in the preschool classroom in 2012.  Here is what she has to say on the Reggio approach, “The students can learn based on experiencing things rather than just being told facts about the world around them.  It helps them understand the material quicker and teaches them to adapt when things change.  If we see butterflies outside, and the children get excited, we can teach them about the life cycle of a butterfly and even show them it while it’s happening in a safe environment.”

Miss Diana

Miss Diana, has a BS from the University of Massachusetts Boston and has worked here for 4 years. Her son graduated PSA in 2023. She is now working on her master’s in education. “I like the hands-on aspect of Reggio Emilia.”

What The Parents Say for Us

“Hi Kimberly, I have been meaning to send you a note to tell you how wonderful our experience has been with PSA. Emmie is really enjoying Kindergarten so far. It is a long day but she has been eager to head out each morning to school to see her friends. PSA had her well prepared for this transition. I cannot say enough about the one-to-one attention you and the other teachers provide to the kids each day because it really fostered Emmie’s reading and writing by working with her desire to learn these things and never forcing it. Socially, I know she is confident in expressing herself because that was always encouraged at PSA to do just that.”
