8:00 🎲 Arrival & Free Choice Board games, LEGO, puzzles, art table, reading nook, outdoor games, STEM bins, friendship time.
9:00 ➗ Math Challenge (Zearn) Individualized Zearn lessons followed by fun math games, logic puzzles, or team challenges.
10:00 🍎 Snack & Brain Break Healthy snack, stretching, music, quick outdoor movement.
11:00 📚 Reading & Literacy Independent reading, tutoring, reader's theater, book clubs, journaling, creative writing.
11:30 🔬 Makers Lab Rotate between science experiments, slime, engineering challenges, crafts, robotics, LEGO builds, art projects.
12:00 🍽 Lunch Relax, socialize, outdoor picnic when weather allows.
1:00 🌳 Outdoor Adventure Water play, field games, obstacle courses, kickball, capture the flag, gardening, nature exploration.
2:00 🚶 Community Walk Greenway hike, scavenger hunts, nature journals, photography, bird watching, fitness walk.
3:00 🥨 Snack Afternoon snack and hydration.
4:00 👩🍳 Cooking Club Baking, smoothies, homemade pizza, salsa, healthy snacks, no-bake desserts, nutrition lessons.
4:30 🧘 Wellness & Movement Yoga, mindfulness, cooperative games, dance, stretching, team-building activities.
4:30-5:00 Choice Time & Pick-Up Card games, outdoor play, art, reading, STEM challenges, free choice while families arrive.
Set up a time to come and see us then begin when you like! Camp is offered one day, two days, three, four, or five. You can sign up for weekly camp or for the whole summer.
As a licensed Camp in Massachusetts, we must comply with regulations of the MA Department of Public Health and be licensed by the Winchester Board of Health.
Therfore, the Social Academy provides Meningococcal Disease & immunization to parents annually. As well as our policies on the care of mildly ill campers, administration of medications, and ER Health Care Provisions. Lastly we do inform parents of their right to review our background record check, health care, discipline policies, and grievance procedures upon request.
